MAKING COLLEGE AFFORDABLE

Making college affordable for your son or daughter is very important us at IU South Bend. We want to make sure you are aware of all options and deadlines. The Office of Financial aid and Scholarships is ready to help you every step of the way.

STEP 1: APPLY FOR ADMISSION
|
|
Eligibility for federal aid cannot be determined until your son or daughter has been admitted to IU South Bend. The deadline for IU South Bend aid and Indiana state aid is also March 10. To apply for admissions visit www.iusb.edu/apply.

STEP 2: FILE FAFSA FORM
|
|
To be considered for all federal aid programs go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Use school code 001816 to have your information sent directly to IU South Bend.

STEP 3: APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
|
|
Once accepted we encourage your son or daughter to apply online for selective scholarships by using IU South Bend’s Scholarship Application (OSA). One application provides your student the opportunity to be considered to more than 200 scholarships.
