Indiana University South Bend wants your son or daughter as a student next year. We have everything your son or daughter needs for a successful out-of-state education including affordable tuition, student housing, more than 100 degree programs, NAIA sports teams, active campus life, and easy travel from your hometown. As a nearby out-of-state resident, IU South Bend offers an institutional award that brings their tuition rate down to approximately $9,720 per academic year.
The lower tuition rate is possible because IU South Bend is a member of the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) which includes Illinois. Through MSEP, we can offer your son or daughter 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate which comes to about $9,720, a savings of more than $10,000 a year for out-of-state students.
All they need to do to qualify is apply for admission to IU South Bend. The reduction will be automatically posted when they complete their application with their Illinois home address.
