As an added bonus, each year we offer 12 First-Year International Student Scholarships of $1000.00. These are based on merit. You may also apply each year by March 1 for institutional, merit-based scholarships online.

IU South Bend also offers an International Student Fee Remission Scholarship once you have established your need and merit. Qualifying students may be eligible to pay tuition at near in-state rates from the second year of enrollment through the 5th year of undergraduate study and the 3rd year of graduate study.

The Raclin School of the Arts offers generous scholarship funding and support to outstanding vocal and instrumental performance and composition students.

Student Voices from IU South Bend

Fernando Garcia

Sophomore, Ecuador

“I came in 2007 to come to the Language Institute to learn English. I knew the university and the city. I knew that the business program was good. I decided to come here rather than Texas A&M. I have good friends, roommates and independence. I’m close to campus and I don’t need a car.”
