New Transfer Admissions Counselor
Hello! My name is Marvin Gill. I was born and raised in Gary, IN. I came to IU South Bend as an undergraduate student and earned my Bachelor of General Studies with a focus in Arts and Humanities, along with minors in photography and photojournalism. My experience as an IU South Bend alum will help the next generation of students be successful here. I am excited to serve as an admissions counselor for transfer students. Before joining the admissions team, I worked in athletics as a manager for the men’s basketball team for six seasons. I assisted with a little bit of everything, from recruiting to student-athlete eligibility. Fun fact: I ran some of the athletics teams’ social media accounts and take pictures for the teams. I hope to see you all at some of those athletic events in the future!
