We invite prospective or admitted students and their guests to campus to learn more about admissions, financial aid, and student life! Plus,
- Tour our campus and see how students live in on-campus apartments
- Meet with professors, advisors, and current students
- Find out more about specific programs, career trajectories, research opportunities, internships, and where our graduates are now
- Receive a FREE t-shirt and backpack!
Breakfast and check-in begin at 8:30 AM EST, with presentations beginning at 9:00 AM EST. Program ends at 1:00 PM EST. Free breakfast is provided, as well as a light buffet of appetizers in the afternoon. We can't wait to see you on campus!
First Fridays Downtown
When visiting South Bend on a First Friday, be sure to leave time for a trip to our downtown area where you can enjoy the festivities that highlight shopping and dining, as well as arts and entertainment venues. Learn more at DTSB's First Friday Web site. The celebration begins each First Friday at 5:00pm EST.
Leaving from the Office of Admissions in the Administration Building throughout the week, tours last approximately one hour and are led by current IU South Bend students. All prospective students receive a free t-shirt and backpack!
Please note that tour groups are capped at 8 people and registration in advance is required. All tour start times are in Eastern Standard Time.
On-Site Make-Up Days
Did you miss us when the Office of Admissions visited your high school? We invite you to drop in to Admissions anytime between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM EST on the dates below to submit an application for free, meet one-on-one with a counselor, and get an admissions decision on-the-spot. Plus, seniors in high school with at least a 3.0 GPA are eligible for the $500 Titan On-Site Award! Please be sure to bring a copy of your official high school transcript with you.

Does a weekend visit work better with your schedule? Join us on Saturday mornings at 10 AM EST for a 90 minute visit to campus. The morning begins with a presentation about applying to IU South Bend, and is followed by a student-led campus tour that takes guests through a selection of open buildings on campus. All prospective students will receive a free t-shirt and backpack. Registration in advance is required.
Want to experience campus in person, but cannot make a scheduled tour? We've got a solution for you! Stop by campus whenever is most convenient for a self-guided tour. Using your mobile phone, just scan a QR code to access the tour guide and follow along with the text as you make your way around our campus. Please note that, while buildings may be closed, the tour guide can be viewed at any time using a smart phone or tablet. The tour begins near the IU SOUTH BEND sign at the front of campus on Mishawaka Avenue. Parking is available on Mishawaka Avenue or in the visitor parking lot behind the Administration Building off of Esther Street.

From classrooms and the library to the Student Activities Center and campus housing, you'll get a glimpse of what life is like on our beautiful 105-acre campus on the banks of the St. Joseph River.
