I am extremely excited to join the Indiana University South Bend community!

I earned my first Bachelor’s degree in cross-cultural communication from a pedagogical university in St. Petersburg, Russia, and a second Bachelor’s degree in translations. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Higher Education with an emphasis in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University (GVSU). At GVSU, I served as a graduate assistant in the Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships and helped students apply for nationally competitive awards and scholarships.

In addition, I was an academic advisor in the Honors College, connecting students with appropriate resources to ensure their graduation. As a practicum student I created a video that educated international students on Title IX issues on campus. Prior to coming to IUSB, I worked at Purdue University Northwest as an academic advisor for pre-nursing and health studies majors.

Being originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, I am fluent in Russian, as well as English, and I study Serbian and Spanish. My scholarly interests relate to student identity development, international students, and Appreciative Advising.
