Hello! My name is Carlos Moncayo, I am a first-generation freshman at IUSB, and I am studying finance with a minor in political science. I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador and I only just recently moved to the U.S. for college. I am so happy with my decision to attend IUSB because of the many wonderful people I have managed to meet as well as the many opportunities and benefits I have been granted ever since becoming a Titan. I am a really sociable person and just love talking in general which is why I became a Titan Ambassador. I hope to help others fit in just like how I managed to in the time I have been here. Outside of school I enjoy sports of all kinds, such as going to the gym, soccer, and football. I am also a book lover, so I read a lot of books of many different genres!
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Carlos Moncayo, soy un estudiante de primera generación y estoy en mi primer año con una especialización en Finanzas y una subespecialización en ciencias políticas. Nací y crecí en Guayaquil, Ecuador. Me mudé a los Estados Unidos hace apenas unos meses para estudiar en la universidad y estoy muy feliz con mi decisión de haber escogido IUSB, esto gracias a las maravillosas personas que he podido conocer asi como por todas las oportunidades y beneficios que se me han otorgado desde que soy un Titan. Soy una persona muy sociable y me encanta hablar, es por eso que me uní a ser parte de los Titan Ambassadors, así como también la posibilidad de poder ayudar a los demás a adaptarse sin problemas, tal y como lo he hecho yo en el tiempo que he estado aquí. Fuera de clases disfruto mucho de todo tipo de deportes, como ir al gimnasio, jugar fútbol y fútbol americano. También soy un gran amante de los libros y leo muchos de varios diferentes géneros

Hello! My name is Mariela Garcia Diaz, and I am a junior studying Marketing & Advertising with a minor in Spanish. I was born and raised in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico and had the opportunity to finish high school in the U.S. I chose to attend IUSB to pursue a field that reflects my vision for the future and supports my professional goals. My favorite thing about IUSB is how much they support student success. They offer many opportunities to learn, grow, and get involved on campus. I enjoy being a Titan Ambassador because I get to meet new people, talk about my great experiences on campus and facilitate the process for Spanish speakers. Outside of school I like hanging out with friends, going to K-Pop concerts, and dancing!
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Mariela Garcia Diaz, estoy en mi tercer año de la universidad con un concentrado en Mercadotecnia y Publicidad, así como también estudio una especialidad en el idioma español. Nací y crecí en Villahermosa, Tabasco, México y tuve la oportunidad de terminar la preparatoria en los Estados Unidos. Elegí IUSB porque me brinda la oportunidad de desarrollarme en un campo que coincide con mi visión del futuro y fortalece mis metas profesionales. Una de las cosas que me gustan de IUSB es la manera en que apoyan y guían a los estudiantes al éxito. Ofrecen una infinidad de oportunidades para aprender, crecer e involucrarse en la vida estudiantil. Disfruto de ser Titan Ambassador porque puedo conocer nuevas personas, compartir mis experiencias en la universidad y facilitar el proceso para aquellos que hablan español. Fuera de la vida universitaria me gusta salir con amigas, ir a conciertos de K-Pop y bailar.
